Our Story

Three Dogs Woodworks was founded in 2022 after Jason left his career as a project manager in the glazing industry after 20+ years. We specialize in crafting one-of-a-kind, custom furniture and home décor pieces that are both stunning and functional. Our name is dedicated to our three dogs Nike, Peanut, and Loki, who keep us on our toes.

We strive to bring our clients the best quality products and services, and each of our pieces is crafted with love, care, and attention to detail. We’re committed to making sure that the finished product is something that you’ll cherish for years to come.

Meet The Team

Jason Zerrenner

Founder & Owner

My name is Jason, and I am originally from Palisades Park, New Jersey. In my informative years, I bounced around northern New Jersey, until my wife and I made the move to Sneads Ferry in 2019 after we decided we needed a change of pace.

After spending twenty years as a project manager in the glazing industry, I decided it was time pursue my true passion - working with wood. In 2022, I left my career to focus on woodworking full-time, and I haven't looked backed since.

Before owning and operating a business, I enjoyed reading philosophy, collecting comic books and memorabilia, and skydiving. Most of my spare time now is spent brainstorming new ideas, and trying to to get my wife to go camping. Fun fact about myself: I have six herniated discs in my back.

Whether it's custom furniture or unique wooden decor, I love blending functionality with artistry to craft pieces that are both beautiful and lasting. For me, there's nothing more rewarding than creating something meaningful that people can enjoy for years to come.

Jessica Meyer

Co-Founder & Co-Owner

Hi there! My name is Jessica. I am originally from Fair Lawn, New Jersey and made the move to coastal North Carolina in 2019 with my husband, Jason.

In addition to running a lot of the behind the scenes work here at Three Dogs, I also work at Coffee Haven in Sneads Ferry as a barista! I am incredibly lucky to have two jobs that I love. While Jason handles all of the large projects, I handle creating all of our signs, and laser engraved items!

When I'm not working, I can usually be found cozied up with a book, hanging out with friends, or playing with our three pups. Fun fact about me: I am deaf in my right ear!
