Custom Full Sized Countertop Butcher Block

There is quite the story attached to this piece, so buckle up folks! In September of 2024, we were contacted by a client in Kentucky. He was looking for a custom countertop butcher block, and we were happy to take on the task. This bad boy in total measures 24x51, and weighs a whopping 90 pounds! It's made from 3 inches of solid walnut, and features 3 matching walnut skirts to ensure the board stays put on his counter. Unfortunately, when we shipped this board out it was damaged horribly in transit. All 3 of the skirts were cracked, and corners were smashed in. We were absolutely devastated to find this out. So, with that being said, we will be making the trip out to Kentucky in January in order to repair this board for our client. Our dedication to our clients is something we take very seriously, and we will do (almost) anything to ensure the final piece is one that they are proud to show off.
