What sets this board apart is its thoughtful addition of juice grooves. Carefully carved along the edges, these grooves serve as a practical feature to catch and contain any excess juices from meats, fruits, or vegetables, preventing them from running onto your countertops. This ingenious design element keeps your workspace clean and organized, while also allowing you to conveniently collect the flavorful liquids for later use in sauces, gravies, or marinades.
 
This board features a combination of exotic and domestic hard woods including: sapele, wenge, and maple. Each board is finished with a food grade mineral oil and locally sourced beeswax to truly bring out the true beauty of these exotic woods.
 
This board is approximately 12 inches long and 18 inches wide, and is 1.5 inches thick. Each board includes a set of feet to keep it from sliding around, and handle cut outs on each side for easier handling.
 
These boards are not meant to be soaked overnight or placed in the dishwasher. You will be sent a care instruction card with instructions on how to properly care for your board.
